The D2T 2-element compact antenna covers 1.5 to 200MHz continuously 1kW PEP. Constructed with 2m boom, 2x 6m elements and weighing 8.5kg. No ATU is needed, and only one feeder of 50 Ohm coax is required. The whole assembly can be rotated by a lightweight rotator. Adapted from a military design (the manufacturer¡¯s main business) the dipole element is directly fed with coax cable via a balun, and the reflector is fed through a phasing section and is terminated with an 820 Ohm resistor.
